There is quite a tradition of Japanese photobooks featuring cats, with at least three by Masahisa Fukase; but new book Wonderful Days is surely up there with the best. This beautifully printed collection of vintage material is full of love and laughter unlike much of his better-known work. Published by Roshin Books.

The Heavens by Paolo Woods & Gabriele Galimberti

Paolo Woods and Gabriele Galimberti spent over two years travelling to the offshore centres that embody tax avoidance, secrecy, offshore banking and extreme wealth. The resulting book The Heavens, presented in the style of an annual report, reveals a world of exploitation and privilege that distorts the financial markets and benefits those that already have the most.
